1. 75 лет назад, 2 марта 1933 года, состоялась премьера первого в мировом кинематографе блокбастера "Кинг Конг". Голливудская актриса Фэй Рэй (Fay Wray) в роли Энн Дарроу (Ann Darrow).

2. По сюжету блондиночку подарили мрачному на вид чудовищу - гигантской горилле. Однако фильм раздвинул рамки привычных штампов черно-белого кино и отказался от банальной ситуации противостояния "красавицы" и "чудовища".

3. Никто так не умел бояться как Фэй Рэй. Кадр из фильма "Кинг Конг". С актером Брюсом Каботом (Bruce Cabot).

4. Спецэффекты создал талантливый Уиллис О'Брайан (Willis O'Brian), который вдохнул в свои творения столько творческой мощи, фантазии и жизни, что никакие компьютерные заморочки до сих не могут превзойти его кукольных персонажей.
